Zula Tweed Bullman, of Asheville, died on Friday, July 15, 2011, at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Madison Co., she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Dorothy Tweed. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Vada and Nola Tweed; and by her brothers, Darius, Elbert, Lankey, Powell, Jack, Quinton, and Luke Tweed. Mrs. Bullman is survived by her daughter, Kay Farlow and husband Daryl; son, Vincent Bullman; sisters, Sadie Thompson, Dorothy Williams, Betty Blackwell, and Zola Franklin; five grandchildren, including her special grandson, Vincent Bullman, II; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Cline. A graveside service for Mrs. Bullman will be on Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Ashelawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Robert Reynolds officiating. Her family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Monday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.
