Willis Vance Parham

Willis Vance Parham, 82, of 50 Griffin Branch Road, Leicester, died Thursday, March 18, 2004. Mr. Parham was a native of Buncombe County and was a son of the late Troy and Melisha Griffin Parham. He was a retired auto mechanic having been associated with Sronce Automotive and Parkland Chevrolet. He was a member of Mountain View Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by two sisters, Eula Wright and Ella Mae Parham, both of Leicester; a number of nieces and nephews including Harold Parham and his wife Gail of Candler; and his good friends Deborah and Robert Rice, Melissa and Danny Greene and Ethan and Colton Greene. Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jennis Sluder officiating. His family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
