Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family. I remember him well when you lived at Turtle Creek. What a wonderful man he was. Such a delight to be around.
I was sorry to read of your loss of your husband and father in the Olean, N.Y. paper. I was drawn to the name, because my great grandfather was William S. Potter of Friendship, N.Y., who was the architect of the Friendship, N.Y. Library. I am wondering if Winford W. Potter might have been a brother of William S. Potter? My great-grandfather was born in 1854 and died in 1923. His daughter, Cora Potter (Niver) was my grandmother. I have given the funeral home my email address if you would like to answer some time.
