William F. ''Bill'' Laughter

A native of Buncombe County, he was son of the late Eli and Martha Jane Huntley Laughter and husband of the late Ruth Ester Ball Laughter who died in 1991. He was a retired dairy farmer and was an Air Force veteran of WW II. He was a member of the Appalachian Singlefoot Horsebreed Association and a member of the Hoopers Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons; Jerry, Tim, and Mark Laughter all of Fletcher and five grandchildren; Jacob, Seth, Zachary, Joshua and Haley Laughter.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hoopers Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Lawrence Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30pm Monday at the church.
