I am an Asheville firefighter who was assigned to West Asheville Station 3 until recently. Captain Fisher would often stop by and share stories and tid-bits of AFD history with us at the station and we always enjoyed his visits very much. He was a fine gentleman and he will be missed.
May God bring you peace in your grief as the Captain rests in the glory of Jesus!
Larry,so sorry to hear about your Dad,My thoughts and prayers are with you,,I know it is hard,,around Fathers Day,,will make it harder,Cherish his memories they are forever….
Willard’s Family, Willard was 1 year ahead of me at Lee Edwards High School and his brother Roy was in my Class. I remember a basket ball game at Hall Fletcher Jr. High featuring the Fisher Boys and the Maney brothers. We are never ready to lose our loved ones and the only thing to sustain us has to be our Faith in the Sovereignty of God and the manifested concern of caring friends. Please know we are thinking of you and will hold you in our prayers. Joe
Larry & Jane,
