Virginia Morgan Hardin

Asheville - Virginia Morgan Hardin, 74, died Saturday, June 5, 1999 in a local
health care facility.

A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late James K. and
Mae Belle Lewis Morgan and wife of the late Warren G. Hardin, who died in
1992.  She was also preceded in death by two children, James and Cathy
Hardin and by a great-granddaughter, Abigail Guill.

She was a member of Skyland Baptist Church and a retired employee of
Three Mountaineers and a former employee of Biltmore Spinning
Company.

She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Brown and her husband Mike of Arden;
two sons, Warren G. Hardin, Jr. and his wife Roanell of Mills River and Dan
Hardin of Arden; a sister, Martha Moore of Clio, Michigan; two brothers, Joe
Morgan of Clio and John Morgan of Huntington, West Virginia; five
grandchildren, James Hardin, David Hardin, Shannon Condrey and Candace
Sherman, all of Henderson County and Michele Guill of St. Louis, Missouri and
eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in the Skyland Baptist Church
conducted by the Rev. Greg Corn.  Interment will follow in Pisgah View
Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Monday at Groce Funeral
Home at Lake Julian where Mrs. Hardin will remain until being placed in the
church 30 minutes prior to the service.  At other times the family will be at the
home of her daughter, Joyce Brown.
