I have been a customer of Stuart’s for 25 years. We have shared many pleasant moments. We had great discussions about politics, family, and current events. Stuart often told me that I reminded him of his mother. He showed affection and dedication to me and to many others. I will definitely miss him.
Stuart was a kind, caring individual who put the needs of others above his own needs. During my last appointment, he refused payment from a customer and asked that she go and put the money in the Salvation Army kettle.
Marty, your daddy was devoted to you and was so proud of you and our accomplishments. He could not have been happier when you graduated from ASU this summer. It meant a great deal to him that you returned to Asheville and had been so available to him.
Our prayers are with the family and friends. We will never forget Stuart. He has been a good friend.

I was so sorry to hear of Stuart’s death. I started the first grade with him and graduated with him. I considered him one of my very best friends. We always were laughing and enjoying life. My sincere sympathy goes to all members of his family.
Stuart was the most gifted hair stylist I’ve ever had. And we had loads of fun. I wondered what happened to him. Sad knowing he’s not here physically. Spiritually, always here. I was blessed to know him as long as I did.
