I’m reading about this very late. I have an old diary of my mum’s, who died in June 2014. Wendy Elise Platt Kellogg, from Whitestone, New York. She wrote in her diary in 1957 and 1958 and dedicated it to Roy Douglas Barber. It sounded like a 15-year-old’s diary, but I was 17 once, so I get it. But I wonder if this Roy is the same one.
I’m sorry to see he passed away. He made my mum happy back in the late 1950s, there is nothing wrong with that. She wrote well of him. Thank you, Roy.
