Rose always made me feel so welcome and part of the family whenever I was visiting with Kathy. She will always have a place in my heart.
I didn’t get to talk with Aunt Rose that much but when we did speak it was always about family history. I will miss listening to her stories but she now has a new place to tell them. My prayers are with you Kathy during this time.
Kathy, The loss of your mother will be felt by all. She was a wonderful woman and loved by many. Her work in preparing the kin folks book was just one example of her dedication and love of her family and the family tree. Our loss will definitely be a gain to our father in heaven.
Kathryn and Jim,
You are in our thoughts often, but especially this week as you honor your mother and her life accomplishments. We know how proud of her you have always been. She lives on through you and your own achievements. We are very sorry for your loss. Much love from both of us.

Dear Kathy~ I just wanted to tell you that Rose was very special to me. I first contacted her for my copy of the ‘Kin Folk’ book. I have all her letters she sent me in regards to how we maybe related. my great-grand-mother Dolly Pless Trull was a sister to John D. Pless and Henry was their father. I spoke to you a few yrs ago in trying to locate your mother who was still in N.C. in regards in getting another ‘Kin Folk’ book. She did call me and we chatted for a few minutes. If it wasn’t for her my family and I would not know about our Pless family. My heart goes to you at this time of loss. Sincerely, Carol Trull Eisenbrey
