Robert Leroy Taylor

Robert Leroy Taylor, 86, of 5 Eagle Lane, Candler, died Saturday, October 11, 2008, at the VA Medical Center. Mr. Taylor was born in Forked River, NJ, and was a son of the late George Dewey and Mary Hannah Birdsal Taylor. He was an Army veteran of WW II and was a former diesel mechanic for Lone Star Industries in Florida. He is survived by his wife, Mary Barcklow Taylor; four daughters, Sarah Lance and Doris Anderson of Candler, Ruth Taylor of North Dakota and Laura Richardi of Alabama; one son, Robert A. Taylor of Florida; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. No local services are planned.
