Ray Alan Jeske

In loving memory of Ray Alan Jeske, 85 of Fletcher, North Carolina formally from Germantown Wisconsin who peacefully passed into eternity on April 14, 2026.

Ray was a devoted husband of Christine Jeske with whom he shared just shy of 59 years of marriage.

He was a loving father to Michelle (Richard) Wagner, Mark, deceased, (Janet) Jeske, Laura (Michael) McGinnis.

He is survived by eight grandchildren, Aaron Wagner, Danielle Hanse, Brianna Wagner, Tyler Jeske, Alison Jeske, Autumn McGinnis, Brody McGinnis and Logan McGinnis. Along with an additional six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Lorraine Jeske and son, Mark Jeske.

Ray worked in the mail and printing industry along with making deliveries for small businesses. Ray had a passion for reading and he made everyone laugh with his quirky sense of humor and smile. He was a faithful servant who walked closely with the Lord all his life. He left a legacy of unwavering faith, kindness, and love by talking to everyone and anyone about the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Visitation to begin at 10 AM followed by a service at 11 AM at Living Savior Lutheran Church 301 Overlook Rd., Asheville, NC 28803.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Living Savior Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.

What a blessing to know that Ray is now at peace in the arms of his Savior. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Psalm 23:1,6)
