Pauline Ava Buckner Jenkins, 84 of Mills Gap Road, Arden, died Tuesday, December 26, 2000 in a local hospital.
A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Hampton Buckner and Lora Bailey Buckner, and was the wife of the late Harry J. Jenkins who died in 1983.
She is survived by one daughter, Anne J. Plummer, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; one son, Robert Jenkins of Arden; two sisters, Evelyn Hunter of Weaverville and Blanche Kelly of Clinton, Tennessee; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A Memorial service will be held at 1 pm Saturday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with the Rev. Donald N. Welborn officiating.
