Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I’ll always remember the fun morning calls to Dawn when I got to talk to Patty as well. Always a Good Morning, sometimes a song but always a fun memory! I choose the red candle in honor of her red couch. May we all have a red couch to help us find our way home when we are lost in our aging experience.

  2. We have such wonderful memories of you and your family during our childhood,. Even though we didn’t get to visit much as adults, you and Uncle Vaugh were always in our thoughts and hearts. You wil be missed by your Mease’a nieces and nephews in Texas

  3. Dear Vaughn Jr, Dawn, James, and grandchildren,
Praying for deep comfort in the loss of your precious Mama.♥️🙏🏻♥️
Patty was so genuinely kind and a joy to visit as we sat on her front porch on Medford Branch Rd when my sisters and I came up from Georgia.
I remember Patty fondly when Sharon and I were in elementary school together back in the early 60’s. She and Vaughn Sr were always so kind to me when I would visit with Sharon in their home. Patty also worked in the lunchroom with my grandmother and had lots of fun times as they worked together. My grandmother always spoke very highly of Patty.
My sisters and I were very sad as we would not get to visit her on our trips to NC, when Patty needed to be moved a couple of years ago to be cared for by her faithful and loving daughter and son.♥️ She was so well loved by all of her family and all who knew her, and she sure did love her children and grandchildren!♥️. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ♥️. She is waiting now in Heaven for the rest of her loved ones to follow.♥️
Love and Prayers, Deborah Greene Berry and the Greene Sisters♥️💐♥️

  4. Vaughn Jr and Dawn, I love your mom dearly, what precious memories I have with time spent with your family. My prayers are with you. Susan Whiteside Hannah.

  5. I remember Patty from before I ever went to school. She’d let me ride along to pick you up, Dawn. She was good as gold and one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. We giggled through choir practices and cantatas, she fed my babies at school, and she was always somewhere doing good. She was a jewel. You’re going to miss her, I know, but she was such a blessing and you all were so good to her. I hope the memories of her will bring you comfort in the days ahead. I firmly believe we’ll see her again. Love to you.

  6. Vaughn Jr and Dawn, your mom was such a sweet lady. She and your dad were always so kind to me when I would come spend the night with Sharon. Sharon and I were friends from elementary school thru high school. I will always cherish the time spent with your family. Love and light to everyone.

  7. Patty was a wonderful and kind woman. Thinking of the entire family and sending prayers. ❤️

  8. Patty was a very special person. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family .May God bless you all Heaven has gained another Angel 🙏
