Nadean Elizabeth Lefler, 74, formerly of Oakley, died Monday, October 22, 2007, at Memorial Mission Hospital. Mrs. Lefler was born in West Virginia and was a daughter of the late Bernie and Allie Stewart Lambert. She was married to the late Roy Ray Lefler and was also preceded in death by a son, David E. Lefler. She was employed as a seamstress with Terry Enterprise and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Adams and her husband, Gene, of Flat Gap, KY; a daughter-in-law, Donna Lefler of Asheville; two brothers, Bernie Lambert of Julian, NC and Earling Lambert of Camden, TN; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Revs. Jerry Young and Alan Rash officiating. The family will receive friends at the fellowship hall of Trinity Baptist Church following the service. Contributions to the family may be made to Groce Funeral Home to help with the expenses. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting with the arrangements.

    Please accept our sincere condolences in Nadean’s passing. David’s passing still seems fresh in our minds, and I know that each of them would have wanted a longer life for the other. Pastor Buddy Corbin has said on occasion, ‘Some have had a long life, and some have had a good life.’ But to me, the good life that Nadean and David lived is the preferred blessing.   2. Sorry to here about Nadean she worked with my mama Juanita Lanning at Terrys. I lost my mama in July 25 2007, I know what you are going through. she was a great lady. You are in our payers.
