Myrtle Tipton Alexander

MYRTLE T. ALEXANDER Myrtle Tipton Alexander, 99, died July 12, 2009. A native of Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Augusta Tipton, and was married to Wade R. Alexander, who died in 1991. Myrtle and her husband were farmers for over 70 years. She is survived by her nephew, K. Bobby Tipton and his wife, Linda Tipton. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Gerald Sprinkle officiating. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting with the arrangements.
