What a blessing to be given 93 years, especially when those years were lived for our Lord! Mildred was a special lady and will be missed. May you feel our Lord’s love and grace during this time of loss. Our love to each of you,

  6. Dear Ruby,Vera Mae, and Family,
I truly am sorry you have had to say so long to your Mother and Grandmother…but that is the comfort too in knowing that it is not goodbye….for you will see her again. The one thing I know is that Mildred is now in Heaven…and has met her Lord, and been reunited with Lloyd and all her family. Can’t you just see those ‘Batting’ eyelashes and those sparkling eyes as she rejoices with all the love around her!! I will never forget her kindness to me and the way she and your Dad always made me feel comfortable and loved when I was in their home. And never let me run out of ‘Hot Pepper’ while garden season was in. May God keep all of you in His care and love…as you love and support each other.
Love and Peace be with you,
    Pat Wooten

  7. Dear Vera, Rubye and family: I was really sorry to read of Mildred’s passing. She and Lloyd meant a lot to me as a boy growing up on Pole Creek. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  8. To the entire family,

Our loss is Heavens gain and I know that daddy (Joe) was smiling as he welcomed her. He spoke of her often as we did too. I’ll miss her sweet smile and there will never be another Mildred. Take care. We are praying for you. Doug – Joes son

  9. I, along with my entire family will miss Aunt Mildred very much. As long as I can remember, I knew she was always ther for me. She really cared about us all so much. Michelle, Austin, and I will really miss her on Halloween as we always went by to see her for her special ‘treat’ for Austin.
I can never remember not getting a birthday card from her and this year at my birthday, I will be very sad not to have a card in the mailbox.
Love to all of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
    Jane
