Mike Alexander

Michael “Mike” Eugene Alexander, 67, a native to Asheville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Mike loved to cook for his family, friends and neighbors. He grew an amazing garden for many years that he shared with everyone in his community. He found peace being outdoors, enjoying God’s creation. Hobbies that he liked included bowling, karate, remodeling vehicles, putting together model car kits, and watching football with family. He retired from Milkco in 2025 and also worked at Charles D. Owen Manufacturing Co. for 20 plus years.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Wallace Alexander; mother, Ruth Harwood Alexander; brother, James “Jim” Alexander; and daughter, Christy Michelle Alexander.

He is survived by his son, Christopher “Chris” Alexander and wife Crystal; son, Daniel Alexander and girlfriend Breanna; sister, Linda Israel and husband Mike; grandchildren, Trenton, Kinzly, Mya and Antonio Alexander; and several nieces and nephews.
