Matthew Scott Ramey

Matthew Scott Ramey, 31, died Thursday, February 15, 2018, at his home. Born in Buncombe County, he was a son of William Ramey and his wife, Tina, and Donna Ramey Redden and her husband, Michael. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nicole Joyce Ramey and a brother, Michael Ray Ramey. Matthew was employed as a Restoration Technician with SteamMaster. In addition to his parents and step-parents, he is survived by his wife, Wendy Joyce Reynolds Ramey; a son, Daemon Ramey; maternal grandmother, Audrey McHone; a sister, ReVonda Ramey Carroll, a brother, Travis Ramey, and four nephews. No services are planned at this time. Donations may be made to Groce Funeral Home to assist with the expenses.
