Even as a kid when we would go to Asheville to visit my mother’s (Diane Duckett Everhart)family I was always intrigued by Aunt Jerry’s calm and peaceful demeanor. She was truely a beautiful and talented person. Even though it’s been a while since I have seen any of her daughters, I know they and their families were the apple of her eye. I know Jack and all of you are going to miss her – but it will only be for a while. On Thursday heaven became a little bit more beautiful. I will be remembering you all in my prayers.
Mary, Mike and your entire family. You are in our thoughts during this time.

My village family, I am soooo sorry for your loss. All of you play such an important role in my life. A Mother’s touch and love leaves such an empty place and Jack, I’m so sorry for the emptiness you have.I will be praying for the Comforter to comfort each of you. Jerry was such a great gal. She had many talents and did each one really well. My prayers are with each of you. Love to each one, Marcia Howell Eddie sends his love and regrets, also.
Jack,
Always know you’re never alone.
I remember Mrs. Duckett and her husband. My Dad is Roy Lester..he retired from American Enka too, he is 89 years young now. I remember dad and I going to Mr. and Mrs. Ducketts house. We lived in the Hayes Cove Community..may she rest in peace and God encircle the family in his arms of comfort..The bob lester (I was Gordon back then) family.

Mary,
Very sorry to hear about your mother. I remember she was very nice to all of us whenever we would gather at your house way back when we were in high school. Best wishes to all your family.

Mary, I am very sorry to hear about your Mother. She was always so sweet to all of us.
Mary and family,
I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Losing your mother leaves a hole that is so hard to fill. My prayers are with each and every one of you.
My parents (Ruth & Marvin Ownbey)regret they were unable to attend the services. My mother’s health does not allow her to leave home very often.
I think of you often, Mary, especially in your time of loss.
With kindest regards,
Jean
