Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My thoughts are with you, Rod and Diane. It is so very hard to lose a spouse. There is comfort in thinking Marilyn is with her other two dears, Karen and Bonnie.
One favorite memory: my then little Scott looking from his grandma to Marilyn at Bonnie’s wedding reception in utter shock during the prayer and blurting out, ‘Other Grandma?’ She nodded quietly and just sparkled at him.

  2. Rod & Family,

I was so saddened by the news yesterday of Marilyn’s passing. Although I only crossed paths with her a few times, she always struck me as a wonderful, kind, sweet woman of God. I’m sure she will be sorely missed. As with you, I look forward to seeing her again one day in glory with an opportunity to spend much more time with her. ‘Absent from the body, present with the Lord.’

  3. Dear Rod and family,
Mike and I were so sorry to hear of Marilyn’s passing. She was such a gentle, sweet lady and we will all miss her at Arden. We were out of town and only returned home last night. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
