Margie Holcombe Bridges, 69, of 5 Mildred Avenue, Asheville, died Monday, January 21, 2002, in an
Asheville hospital.
Mrs. Bridges was born in Buncombe County and was a
daughter of the late Jerome and Bertha Holcombe. She was also preceded in death by a son Bobby
Darrell Fox in 1992. She was a former CNA with Thoms Rehabilitation Hospital.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary Carpenter, Libby Lunsford and Darlene Curry, all of Asheville; one son, William Roscoe Fox, Jr. of Leicester; two sisters, Pauline Holcombe of West Virginia and Louise Haney of Marion; a brother, Bobby Holcombe of Charlotte, nine grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family.
