Margie Brinkley Moore

Margie Brinkley Moore, 95, of Candler Knob Road, Asheville, died Thursday, August 11, 2005, at Mission Hospital. A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Ada Ingle Brinkley and was also preceded in death by her husband, Perry Moore, who died in 1987. Mrs. Moore was retired from JA Baker Packing Company. Survivors include a sister, Rowena Goodson of Candler and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Reverend Charles Shelton officiating. Her family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 pm Monday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue prior to going to the cemetery.
