MARGARET S. BRYSON The family of Margaret Sharpe Bryson is saddened to announce the death of their mother. She slipped away on Mother's Day, May 11, 2008. She was 83 years old. Mrs. Bryson was a native of the Asheville area all her life. She was born to William K. and Lillian Creasman Sharpe on March 6, 1925. She is leaving behind three daughters who will miss her enormously; Miss Robin D. Lamb of Fairview, Mrs. Carolyn Tarske and husband Michael of Hendersonville and Mrs. Belinda Rhew and husband Ken of Fairview; she is also survived by four grandchildren, Mrs. Brooke Locklear, Mr. Zac Rhew, Mr. Todd McCallister and Mr. Chris Tarske; two great-grandchildren, McKenna and Greyson Locklear; a brother, Mr. William K. Sharpe and wife Lucille of Horse Shoe. Mrs. Bryson is preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher K. Rhew, three sisters, Dorothy Sharpe, Ford, Helen Sharpe Redmon and Ruth Sharpe Branch; and one brother, John Sharpe. Our mother was a quiet, sweet, caring woman who was loved by all who came to know her. She will be missed by many. A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. with Rev. Charlie Sams officiating. Interment will follow at New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Skyland. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. We would like to thank the staff at Fleshers Healthcare, Care Partners and everyone associated with the care of our mother.

  2. I praise The Lord that my Nanny is up in Glory right now shouting the praises of God and that she no longer has to endure the pain and suffering that this world can cause. She will be missed, but we will see her again!

  5. I wanted to tell everyone how sorry I was to hear about Tubby’s passing. I was unable to make the visitation because of work but wanted to express my sympathy for all who loved her but especially to Carolyn, Belinda and Robin. I love you all and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
