Margaret Cogburn Warren

Margaret Helen Cogburn Warren, 77, of 33 Tryphena Road, Candler, died Thursday, May 14, 2009, at John F. Keever Hospice. A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Idell Brown Cogburn and was also preceded in death by a borther, C.L. Cogburn. Survivors include her husband, Butch Warren; a son, Mark Warren of Candler; a step-son, Dennis Warren of Statesville; grandson, Aaron Warren of Candler and a step-granddaughter, Janelle Warren of Colorado Springs. Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Reverend Ed Worley officiating. Burial will follow at Browns View United Methodist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 11:00-12:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
