Mamie McIntyre

Mamie E. McIntyre, 87, of Asheville, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2009. She had made her home at Emerald Ridge Health Care for several years, during her declining health. She was the daughter of the late M.N. and Delilah Rhymer Luther. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy McIntyre; sisters, Vera Worley, Buna Cagle, Una Sabie; and brothers, H.D., and Sammie Luther. A private graveside service will be held at Newfound Baptist Church Cemetery. The family wishes to thank everyone at Emerald Ridge for the wonderful care she received during her years there. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
