Lynda Speir Konopka, 61, died on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at McDowell Hospital in Marion due to complications in surgery.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley Charles Konopka of Nebo, NC; son, Richard Justin Speir, of Asheville; daughter, Alicia Speir Spraggins, of Atlanta, GA; brother, Michael Webb, also of Atlanta; and three step-children, Jennifer Dawn Thomas, of Charlotte, and April Michelle Konopka and Daniel Jason Konopka, both of Asheville.
Her family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday evening at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.
