Lucy Marion MacEwen

A native of Baltimore, MD, Miss MacEwen was a daughter of the late John William MacEwen and Margaret Susan Whitaker MacEwen.

Miss MacEwen served as a sales representative for Dunham's Music House for over forty years and also enjoyed photography as a hobby. She attended Merrimon Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Mary McCaslin of Asheville and Margaret Gardner of Black Mountain and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, November 3 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road with Reverend Tom Lomax officiating. Interment will follow in Pisgah View Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
