Lucius Bruce Morgan, 78, died on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the VA Medical Center.
Born in Buncombe Co., he was a son of the late Thelma Gudger Morgan. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Malynda C. Morgan, and by his daughter, Alice E. Morgan.
He is survived by his daughters, Beth Milner, of Waynesville, and Robin M. Ramey, of Clyde, and son, Luke Morgan, Jr., of Pinedale, WY.
A graveside service for Mr. Morgan will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Hominy Baptist Church Cemetery, where Mr. Morgan was a member, with the Rev. Dr. Joe Yelton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, 5705 Grant Creek, Missoula, MT 59808.

I send my condolences to Bruce’s wife and children, as Bruce was one of my brother’s best friends at Candler High School in the 1950’s. My brother, Joe B. Roberson, died the evening before Bruce died on Sat. Isn’t that a coincidence?
May God bless you in your sorrow. Both Joe B. and Bruce are now in a better place with no pain and suffering.
