Lucille Rich Gentry

Lucille Rich Gentry, 87, of Candler, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018. A native of Haywood Co., Lucille was a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mary Arretta Wright Rich. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Porter Gentry, Jr. Surviving are her daughter, Alice Hunter and husband Douglas; grandsons, William Hunter and Timothy Hunter and wife Melanie; great-grandchildren, Autumn and Lauren Hunter; sister, Mildred Green; and brother, Horace Rich. Graveside services for Mrs. Gentry will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Buchanan Cemetery in Waynesville. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family.
