Louise Reed Justice

Fairview ~ Louise Reed Justice of the Fairview community died Saturday, June 10, 2006 following a brief illness. Mrs. Justice was of the Methodist faith, a native of Buncombe County, a daughter of the late Oscar and Cora Dotson Reed, and the widow of Granville Justice who died in 2001. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Marie Mason, Nell McIntyre, and Mabel Randall, and brothers Zeb, Claude, and Vernon Reed. Mrs. Justice is survived by a sister, Sara Searcy and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Justice and her late husband owned and operated a dairy farm in Fairview for a number of years. Prior to that time she was employed by Asheville Mica Company having worked at various times in Asheville, Spruce Pine and in Virginia. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm in Bethany United Methodist Church cemetery with Rev. Dr. Don McIntyre and Rev. Glenna Bramlet officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Area Hospice, P.O. Box 25338 Asheville, NC 28813 or to one’s favorite charity.
