Arden, NC~ Lois Eugenia Connelly Felder, 67, of Arden, died Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Branchville, SC., she was a daughter of the late Julius and Lelia Belle Reeves Connelly. Lois was a member of Arden First Baptist Church where she was active in the Friendship Class. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Alton Felder; two sons, Marvin Felder of Enka, NC and Brian Felder and his wife, Jessie, of Horse Shoe, NC; a daughter, Beth Felder Bradley and her husband, Eric, of Asheville, NC; four sisters, Collette Proctor, Sue Goff, and Julia Axson, all of South Carolina, and Carolyn Arias of Florida; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and special caregiver, Jann Keleher. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 17, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian in Arden. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, January 18, 2008, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Branchville, SC under the direction of Ott Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ABCCM, 30 Cumberland Ave., Asheville, NC 28801.
