Dear Turners and Langfords,
I am sitting here thinking of all the fun Laura, Peggy, Kay and I had as teenagers. I loved Laura just like a sister. I remember us going to the pool and coming home with a ‘tomato face’. Laura would pinch my cheeks and call me that. We wore a path between the pool, Peggy’s house and the teen center. We talked about life, who was cute, who was cool and mostly what we were going to wear and our next destination. I will always remember her sense of humor and the way she could light up a room with her laughter. Those were good times. As life goes, we grew up and apart but I never will forget our special friendship. I truly believe that those people you grow up around have a significant role in the person you turn out to be and Laura was the best friend anyone could have. She would yell at me from across the pool ‘McNeal, get over here’. She was very thoughtful and had the cutest big brothers. Who wouldn’t want to be around her? The lord has a very special angel in our Laura. I hope this message makes you smile and takes you back. I know the loss must be great for you, but having her as a part of my life is something I would never give up. God Bless and if you should need anything, I am an email away.
we are so sorry to hear about laura’s passing. may God bless you and keep all of you safe in His arms.May you lean on God to fill your heart with the joy of His Holy Spirit.

Peggy, Summer, Christine, Mark, Sonya, Mitchell and family:
I have so many wonderful childhood memories about sleep overs, hanging out at the pool and teen center, and trips to Myrtle Beach with Laura, along with getting in trouble with Laura, Peggy, and Mary. I could probably write a book. I guess one of my favorite memories is when Laura and I used to climb out the window and onto the roof of her Grandmother’s house on Haywood Road to work on our tans, where we could keep an eye on what was going on in the neighborhood. We thought is was so cool that nobody knew that we were watching. Okay, okay, I’ll admit it, we were really checking out the cute boys playing basketball next door. Laura was such a good friend to us all. She had a huge heart and sweet nature. She would always make you laugh even when you were sad. Although, we all grew up and went different ways, starting careers and raising our own families, I have always kept my childhood girlfriends in a special place in my heart. I love Laura and will miss her very much, so I cannot even imagine how you all are feeling. If there is anything I can do to help you, please know I am only a phone call away.
Love and prayers, Kaye

I am so sorry to hear of Laura’s passing. We were all part of her group of friends and have special memories of her. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
Dear Peggy Jean, Mark, Sonja, Mitchell and all the Turner family members and Langford Family,
Johnny, Travis, Michael and I were so very saddened to learn of Laura Jean’s passing. She was such a kind, loving and beautiful cousin. I have so many, many thousands of wonderful memories with the Turner family growing up as a child, teenager and young adult. It’s been so long but my heart, love and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time. Love you all and miss you all very much.
Christina and Summer,
I am praying for you both. I have known your dad since he was 5 years-old and I only talked to your mom when Summer was in the hospital after her surgery. I know you made your mom and dad so happy. Chris and I talked through the years and lost touch before his passing. But I want you to know how much he loved all of you. As for Laura, she was the love of his life along with you both. I hadn’t seen him in years , but the last time we talked, he talked of the three of you and how you meant the world to him. Now they are forever together. Take care of each other and Peggy. If I can ever be there for you, Chris was like my younger brother. Never Forget the love you both have, had and will always have. You were a gift to your parents and they were a gift to you. God Bless you all.
Peggy, Mark and Mitchell,

We wish that you could have stayed on this earth longer than you have, but we are so proud that you made it as far as you did. You were such a fighter through your sickness, and your trademark smile lasted until the very end. The strength that you have shown this past year has taught us to never look back, and to always keep fighting. Your laughter and joy brought happiness to so many, and your sweet personality could make anyone light up.
Today is not a day that we will mourn of your death, but a day in which we will celebrate your homecoming. We are very sad to see you go, but happy that you are not sick anymore, and that your suffering is over.
Words can’t explain how close we truly were to you Mom, you were are best friend, and you still are. We could tell you anything in the world, and you would know exactly what to say. If we were in trouble, or if someone had said the wrong thing to us, you would come running. Even though you are gone, we know that you love us, and that you will watch us every day as you are in Heaven.
We just want you to know how much we love and appreciate you. You were the best mother that we could have ever had. ‘
We are glad to know that you are safe, and happy in Heaven, and we will see you again one day. Tell Dad that we say hey, and that we love him very much.
We love you forever and a day-
