Kristan Edward Laughlin

Kristan Edward Laughlin passed onto his forever Home on March 27, 2025, in Asheville.

Kristan was born to Hugh and Nancy Laughlin on February 22, 1994, in Desert Hot Springs, California. He got a brother, Kim, in 1998, who was a joy of his life. He was loved by his teachers and soccer coach in Desert Hot Springs. The family had planned on relocating to Asheville and his dear daddie, Hugh, passed suddenly. The family ultimately did move to Asheville in 2003. Evergreen Charter School welcomed and loved Kristan and his family. He attended Cane Creek Middle School then A.C. Reynolds High School, and also AB Tech CC. Kristan worked in restaurants, and in landscaping and artificial turf before he found his special place in local tree companies in Asheville. He was loved by many in his 22 years in the Asheville area. Kristan decided to go to Overcomers men’s Christian ministries at Miracle Hill in Greenville, SC, in February, 2025, to get help for his drug addiction.

He is survived by his mother Nancy, of Abbeville, SC; his brother, Kim, in Travelers Rest, SC; and his step-sister, Lindsay Laughlin. in St. John Virgin Islands.

Kristan was an encourager for many and that will never stop in Jesus’s name.
