  3. Sweet lady you are in the arms of Jesus Christ now and you will be missed because of your generosity and kindness towards others and I was happy to have known you and your sweet kindness towards your grandson Wes because he’s a fine young man and someday we’ll all be together.

  4. I cannot begin to tell you how much I felt about Kay. She was not only my 1st cousin but a great friend. We had some great times together being in my Red Hat Society group, going to restaurants dressed in those red hats, usually getting more attention than we wanted. Also the yearly Christmas Parties that I had every year at my home, playing Dirty Santa. She really enjoyed the game. She was a wonderful person who I loved dearly. My condolences and love to the family.

  6. My Aunt Kay was the kindest, most selfless, giving person I have ever known. I have so many wonderful memories of her. She was my daddy’s little sister, and they were very close. Our family’s spent every holiday, birthdays and a lot of Sundays, at my Nanny and Papaw’s (daddy and Kay’s parents), when us cousins were young. Kay was someone I always looked up to. She made me feel special, like when I was 9 years old and got saved, she got me a Schofield Bible with my name on it. When I was pregnant with my 1st child, Kay insisted on buying the crib for my baby, and had a yard sell for me, and she gave me a baby shower. And when my sister was very sick in the hospital, she came to the hospital every day for weeks, to stay with her when my parents had to go back to work, so my sister wouldn’t be alone. She also took wonderful care of Nanny and Papaw until they went to be with the Lord. I’m sure there are many stories that others could share about her love and kindness. If anyone needed anything, she was always there to help. She is forever loved and will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
