Kathleen Paris Patty

Arden - Kathleen “Katy” Patty, 84, of Pinner Road, died Monday, February 21, 2000 in a local health care facility. A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late William W. and Mary Elizabeth Banks Paris and wife of the late Clifford P. Patty. She was also preceded in death by a brother, William Banks Paris. Mrs. Patty lived in Knoxville, TN for more than fifty years and was a member of the Bookwalter United Methodist Church and the Norwood Garden Club. After moving to Asheville she served as a volunteer at Memorial Mission Hospital for a number of years. Mrs. Patty is survived by a niece Waco Culbertson and her husband Bill of Arden; a nephew Harold Paris and his wife Cindy of Hot Springs; several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2000 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. The family will receive friends following the service. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, February 24, 2000 at the Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville, Tenn.
