Julia A. O'Connor

Julia A. “Judy” O’Connor, 87, of Asheville, died Saturday, February 18, 2006, at her home. Ms. O’Connor was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Jacob Sidney and Lula Ellen Edwards O’Connor. She was retired from Beacon Manufacturing Company. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Trudy Capps Roberts, four sisters, Geneva Morgan, Constance Rollo, Beulah Larson, and Anna Nichols, and six brothers, Bud, Scott, Joe, William, Guy and Jack O’Connor. She is survived by a sister, Mary Jamerson of Asheville, a son-in-law, Steve Roberts, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with Michael O’Connor officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
