  1. Janey’s Family, I have known Janey since our days at Old Vance School and when she lived on Clinton Avenue. I hope that in some small way it helps to know that others do care. Mary

  4. Leesa and family,
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at such a difficult time. But above all else, know the Lord is with you all. He will give you strength and peace to get through this time of such incredible loss. I pray you, Butch, Debbie, Bobbie and Monica will use this time as a reflection, a time to bond together as a family. I have you and your family on our prayer list at church and we pray you can all find peace. Know that the Lord is with each and everyone of you, he knows how you are hurting, he knows your anger and he understands. If you and your family will just rely on Him, he will see you through this tough time. We love you! God Bless you and give you Peace! Lynn, Karen & Bernice Shuler

  5. Janey was a very good friend to my mother, Marilyn Garnett. She had and will always have my utmost respect as a person who lived life the way she wanted.

  6. Leesa and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and family. Your mother was a very special lady. I am so glad that I met her. I know that you all will miss her very much. I pray that ‘good memories’ will help to take your pain away; and I know God will be with you and
give you peace, love, comfort and strength to continue your journey here and someday you will meet your mother where there will be no tears, pain or sorrow — just joy
    and happiness forever more.
Just take some comfort in knowing that others care and share in your sorrow. Blessings and Love, Allie

  11. I treasure the handmade gifts I and my son received from Janey. I have always admired her beautiful needle/fiber arts and felt a small connection to her as I learned tatting and other crafts. I know you will miss her greatly and my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

    Sincerely,
Lynn Fullbright Womack (Sue Jackson’s granddaughter)

  12. Debbie, Lisa, Bobbi-
We were sorry to hear about your Mom. Mom told me the day after or I would have come by the visitation. Our thoughts are with you to pull together with all the stories, laughs and work. She and Mom had been friends and Mom still felt like she was a friend even tho they never saw each other.

  13. Dear Leesa and Family. I was so sorry to hear of your mother passing away. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. If there is anything I can do to help, please call me.

  14. Leesa, Debbie, Butch & Bobbie, It’s been 18 years since I’ve had contact with family in Asheville. My mom, Juanita Taylor, died at the end of May 1992. I’m so sorry to hear about Aunt Janey’s death 3 years after she passed. I hope you all are doing well. I don’t have any addresses to contact anyone down there so I hope you all might read this posting and know I’m still alive and kicking. I did go through a divorce in 1999 and remarried in 2001. I remember all the great times we had together as kids. I just turned 60 last month! Take care.
