Guestbook

  1. Dearest Joey and Cathy,
Our deepest sympathy to you. We love you very much, and want you to know we are here for you. Love,

  2. I was so sad to hear of Mrs. Ross’ passing. She was my teacher at Erwin back in the late 70’s. In my junior year I changed to a business emphasis and fell in love with accounting in her class. She was a wonderful teacher that I greatly respected. Because of her I majored in accounting and am still keeping books today. She made a great impact on my life and I’m grateful to have been her student.

My sympathy to the family at the loss of this great lady.

  3. To the family of Janet Rogers Ross
I wish to extend to each of you my
sincere sympathy. I have fond memory of our High School Days together especially those good old
days playing basketball. My prayers are with you. Love
    Betty Sluder Hall

  4. Joey,
I am so sorry to hear of your mother’s death, and I have all of you in my prayers. I have heard about you several times from my mom. You know that our mothers were very good friends and even though they couldn’t see each other much here on earth, I’m sure that they are now having a wonderful time together in heaven. Love, Tanya

  5. Dear Joey and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss and send my thoughts and prayers for all of you at this sad time. Janet was my inspiration as she lived a long and courageous life determined not to give into adversity. She and I shared many cups of coffee and laughs when Lisa and I visited her. She delighted in Lisa’s imagination and play as she made herself at home and entertained herself and us. I moved away in 1979 and didn’t get back that often but I have asked about her and kept up with her through the years. She was supportive of you and anything you did feeled her with pride. So please extend to you family and her sisters our thoughts and our love. God rest her and her long struggle with daily living and trials.

    Jeanne Sluder and Jack Mulvaney

  6. I graduated from Erwin in 1972. Mrs Ross taught me bookkeeping for two years. She was a wonderful person. I also had a handicap. I was born with cerebal palsy and having her for a teacher showed me that I could go on to do almost anything I wanted to do. I went on to college and have now completed my 28th year with SSA in Asheville partly because Mrs. Ross was an inspiration to me. I will keep the family in my prayers.
