Jane Morgan Blazer, 65, of 276 Curtis Creek Rd., Candler, died Wednesday, February 16, 2000 in a Asheville hospital.

A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Lake and Stella Peebles Morgan. She was a retired employee of Pisgah Elementary School with 14 years service and a member of White Rock Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Blazer; four sons, Marvin Blazer of King's Bay, GA, Phillip Blazer of Tampa, FL, Danny Blazer and Brian Blazer both of Candler; three sisters, IvaJean Fox of Asheville, Arletta Singleton and Dean Hall both of Candler; two brothers, Gedwin and Clayton Morgan both of Candler; five grandchildren, Morgan, Alison and Nathan Blazer, Taffy Sanders, Hudson Hannah; and one great grandson, Coty Blazer Holbrook.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday at White Rock Baptist Church with the Reverends Cecil Fox, Lawrence Fox and Bobby Winebarger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Nephews will serve as active pallbearers and the men of the church as honorary pallbearers.

Her family will receive friends 7-8:30 Thursday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue, where the body will remain until being placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
