Herman J. Davis, 81, formerly of Asheville, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 8, 2007, in at Brooksville Florida Hospital.
Residing with nephew Bobby Kent and family in Weekie Wachee, FL, he was preceded in death by his parents, William and Kate Davis; two sisters, and two brothers.
Mr. Davis is survived by two sisters, Lavada Gibson, of Asheville, and Jean Whitted, of Weaverville.
Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Willis officiating.
His family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
