Helen K. Wheeler Ingle

HELEN K. INGLE Helen K. Wheeler Ingle, 88, beloved mother and grandmother, died Sunday, August 13, 2006, at the Oaks at Sweeten Creek. Mrs. Ingle was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late John E. and Elizabeth M. Wheeler. She and her late husband, Chef Bob Ingle, owned and operated the Redwood Restaurant for many years. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Peggy Chasteen and her husband, Bobby, of Arden, and Dawn Fowler Garlow and her husband, John, of Clemmons; four grandchildren, John Robert, Katelyn, Jared, and Jacob Garlow, all of Clemmons; four sisters, Fran Brame of Greenville, SC, Penny Brown and Betty Ensley of Asheville, and Millie Hohenforst of Largo, FL; and a brother, Herbert Wheeler of Dayton, OH. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Edwards officiating. Burial will be at Green Hills Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
