To family and friends – Harold and I lived at the same senior apartment complex. It was Harold that led me to the Church of the Advocate (Episcopal) where he was a senior warden. I wrote to him when was in an assisted living home. He always said his ashes were to be put in the memory garden at Trinity Episcopal Church. Blessings snd peace, Betty Nelon Rhodes
Harold used to attend church at Temple Baptist which is where my family and I met him. He was in our Sunday school class and for a while we used to pick him up and bring him to church. My daughter and I loved taking our corgi cross, Cricket up to the nursing home to visit with him and he always enjoyed those times and would thank us many times for coming.
We will miss our visits with Harold very much but I look forward to the day when I will see him again in Heaven where he is no longer in pain and has a healthy, strong body.
To Harold’s Family and Friends we send our prayers. We have loved Harold from the first time we met him. That is actually still our favorite memory, as he was so bold and quick to raise his hand or bible in church to the Lord when he was at Temple Baptist with us. He was never ashamed of the Lord. We are sure the Lord was more than excited to welcome him home! We are looking forward to seeing him again. Our prayer is for the Lord to be your comfort now and always, and that you each know the Lord Jesus Christ who holds your Harold close now.
