Harley M. Newcomb

Harley Mark Newcomb, 95, of Cherokee Village, AR, died Monday, March 10, 2008, at his sister-in-law's home in Candler. Mr. Newcomb was born in Battle Creek, MI, and served as a Captain with the US Army during WW II. He worked as an electrical engineer in the automotive industry. He is survived by his wife, Isabel Simmons Newcomb; one son, Raymond Newcomb and his wife, Jessica, of Hardy, AR; two grandchildren, Melody Mitchell and her husband, Ronald (Mitch), and Jody Newcomb, and three great-grandchildren, Destiny, Edward and Zachary. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
