Geraldine Wilcox Goforth

A native of Mansfield, PA, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth Smith Wilcox and wife of the late Troy Goforth, who died in January 1998.

She was a former resident of Elmira, NY and a retired employee of the W.T. Grant Corp.  She was a member of the Lusk Chapel Baptist Church in Spring Creek.  She was a member of the Rebecca Club and the Spring Creek VFD Woman's Auxiliary.

She is survived by a daughter, Debra Shaffer of Marion; son, David Goforth of Lompoc, Calif.; four
grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and special friends, Linda and Misty Medford, Gary
Presnell, Adrian and Yvonne Ellis.

Services will be 2 pm Saturday in the Liberty Baptist Church in Hot Springs conducted by the Rev.Ernestine Meadows.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Friday at Groce Funeral Home.
