Geraldine Warren "Jerry" Sherlin, 69, of Asheville, died on Thursday, November 24, 2011, at her residence. She was a native of Buncombe Co., and a member of Grace Baptist Church. Mrs. Sherlin is survived by her husband, George C. Sherlin; daughters, Kandy S. Wallen, and Georgia S. Minnick and husband David, both of Asheville; grandchildren, Nikki Swain, Corie Wallen, Alisha Runyon, Courtney Minnick, Asa Minnick, Casey Wallen, and Laura Minnick; and aunts, Frances Knapp, and Edna Roberts, both of Asheville. Graveside services were at Green Hills Cemetery. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. assisted the family with the arrangements.

    i am glad she is not hurting any more and we WILL see her again, one day soon! i did not know her well but i think highly of her two girls so i assume they are a reflection of who she was and a bit of her will keep walking…

    in time when you loose your partner you bring up the good thoughts and it cushions the fact that they are missing and not here.
