Geraldine Warren "Jerry" Sherlin, 69, of Asheville, died on Thursday, November 24, 2011, at her residence.
She was a native of Buncombe Co., and a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Mrs. Sherlin is survived by her husband, George C. Sherlin; daughters, Kandy S. Wallen, and Georgia S. Minnick and husband David, both of Asheville; grandchildren, Nikki Swain, Corie Wallen, Alisha Runyon, Courtney Minnick, Asa Minnick, Casey Wallen, and Laura Minnick; and aunts, Frances Knapp, and Edna Roberts, both of Asheville.
Graveside services were at Green Hills Cemetery.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. assisted the family with the arrangements.

I am so sorry to hear about Gerry, she was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She will certainly be missed.

i am glad she is not hurting any more and we WILL see her again, one day soon! i did not know her well but i think highly of her two girls so i assume they are a reflection of who she was and a bit of her will keep walking…
