Geneva L. Westall
March 11, 1927 ~ December 3, 1999
Asheville Butterfly Traildaughter’s home, 19 Apple Lane, Candler.
Mrs. Westall was born in Hayesville and was a daughter of the late Graydon and Nellie Clements Ledford. She was married to Robert T. Westall, who died in 1996.
In addition to being a homemaker, she was a seamstress and craftsperson and she and her
husband enjoyed fishing and relaxing at their Bryson City cabin. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a
daughter, Becky Westall of Candler; a son, Dennis T. Westall of Old Fort; a brother, James Ledford of TN; four grandchildren, Shi, Tammy, Beth and Dennis, and three great-grandchildren,
Cody, Cole and Kennedy.
Graveside services will be at 4:00 pm Monday at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Meredith House officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 5 - 7 pm Sunday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue and request that memorials be made to Mountain Area Hospice, PO Box 16, Asheville, NC 28802.
