Frances Ruth Taylor

Mrs. Taylor was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late John and Laura Miller Pearson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lee Taylor in 1994, two sons, John Dallas Taylor in 1994 and Jerry Lee Taylor in 1971, two sisters, Addie Smathers and Ethel Warren, and four brothers, Bill, Floyd, Raymond, and the Rev. Earl Pearson.

Mrs. Taylor was a retired beautician and was a member of New Morgan Hill Baptist Church.

She was a devoted wife, beloved mother and beloved grandmother and is survived by one son, Ronald Taylor and his wife Beki of Candler, seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at New Morgan Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Roy Houston, Charles Sprinkle, and W.L. Pearson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue where Mrs. Taylor will remain until being placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.

At other times her family will be at her residence, 745 Case Cove Road.
