Asheville Butterfly TrailMrs. Miller was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Verly and Florence Randall Alexander. She was married to Leonard H. Miller who died in 1993. She was a member of Leicester United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, David Miller of Walhalla, SC and Dr. Carol Raymond Miller and his wife Sara of Clemmons, NC; four grandchildren, Caryl Miller, Dr. Lance Miller, Suzanne Rose, and Lorrie Turner; six great-grandchildren, and one sister, Viola Walker of Enka.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday at Leicester United Methodist Church with the Revs. Richard Patzfahl and Neil Haynes officiating. Burial will be at Brick Church Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 3 - 5 pm Sunday at Groce Funeral Home and request that memorials be made to Brick Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Peggy Bennett, PO Box 53, Leicester, NC 28748.

We are so sorry to learn of Frankie’s death. She was always one of my favorite people and I loved to have her teach a Sunday School class when we visited in Leicester. When we discovered our mutual love of genealogy, it was another blessing for me. She helped me with many questions I had about who was who and who they thought they were! She was a delightful person to be around and she will be missed.
