Fannie Louise Davall

Asheville - Fannie Louise Bowles Davall died Saturday, January 31, 2004, in a local healthcare facility. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mrs. Davall was daughter of the late William Richard and Bessie Virginia Mayer Bowles. She was wife of the late Thomas Charles Davall who died in 1998. Mrs. Davall was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church. Surviving is a daughter, Irma Shipman; three sisters, Mildred Cunliffe and Lillian Bowles of Skyland and Nancy Kaltenbach of Hendersonville; three brothers, Charles H. Bowles of Arden, Bill Bowles of Chesapeake, VA., and Jack M. Bowles of Orlando, FL.; one grandson and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Episcopal Church with The Rev. Victor Mansfield officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
