To all of the family of Gene. May your hearts be made lighter by the promises in GOds word that we will see Gene again on day soon. He was such a joy to be with. I have spent numerous hours with him in our earlier years. He was one of the most kind hearted and generous men I have ever known. To all of my cousins (his children ) just hold on to the wonderful memories you have of him and know is in a far better place waiting for you. Just know that I love each of you and you are in my prayers.
Gene was a kind man and will be missed by all. We will always remember his thoughtful deeds and the twinkle in his eyes.
To Mike And Kathy,
My thoughts and prayers are with you now and always. May you know that the Lord has called Gene home to rest in peace.

Thank you all so much for the kind words, and sharing in the celebration of my dad’s life. I am very pleased that I was able to spend so much time with him over the past 6 weeks. Although he was sick, he made me laugh, and we were able to share of lot of memories.
There is no pill or diet that can extend our days on earth beyond the number that the Lord has willed; but my dad knew thru his faith that he would live forever in a perfect home with a flawless body. (He kept his sense of humor right up to the end. He did not recall the date he was baptized, but he could describe the girl baptized along with him.)
So sorry for your loss.
my condolences goes out to the family of Mr. Elliott. May the God of all comfort bring comfort to the family.

We will miss Gene so much it will hurt for ever, but the joy of him being home with God and his family gone on before will over shadow that hurt.
Jay and I were so pleased to have had him home with us and to share memories, one was a hoot. To keep from leaving his precious pool table in Fl. he sawed it into so it would fit on the truck and off he went, putting it together again once he returned home to NC.
Kathy, I am sorry for your loss and am remembering you and your family in prayer. Love you.
